Hello my Diamond Blog Lovers! I apologise for not posting these 2 days, but things have been quite too hard on me, and I definitely need an immediate break from reality. I won’t stop posting, that is for sure. And there are many more things coming on the way. I simply took a small break to relax. So today, I would like to talk about mental health. How is it so important to take care of ourselves and what impact that has on our daily routine. What are you waiting for? Lee reading!
Honestly, I’m not a psychologist so whatever I will say, I will say it only through experience and my own perspective. There have been many times where I said I’m giving up. But I never did. Deep inside myself I didn’t believe I would give up at all. There are just times where you can’t afford anything in your life anymore. It is like everything seems to be bothering you, everything is too much for you to handle. I’ve been feeling this way lately honestly.
I don’t actually have a solution for that, as I always do whenever I’m discussing different topics with you. I’m still trying to figure it out myself. But there are sometimes when I realise that the reality of who we are depends on who we want to be in comparison with who we used to be. Seems confusing, but it’s true. I remember myself younger that I was happier. And when I grow up I wanna a successful person with enough money to travel the world and spend my time without worrying. It is pretty difficult but if you don’t try then it’s not worth the tears you shed for it.
Taking care of yourself might sound selfish. To me at leash it does. But it’s actually not selfish. Just think that you are thanking yourself for being alive today. For doing whatever you have to do throughout the day and for making it until here. I’m still in the process of that too. But it’s time we accept ourselves for who we really are.
You may have a body full of curves, and somebody else has curves too but they are different. Each body and each person is unique and we should not compare ourselves to other people. Comparing someone with someone else is like you are comparing an animal and a plant. It would be ridiculous right? That’s what comparison is.
We all need to learn how to embrace ourselves. And we can do that by doing things we like, by doing something that can heal our inner child maybe even in the long term. Nothing is ever useless or not necessary. If we think that this can boost our mental health, then we should go for it.
I’m using “we” because I include myself too. In this matter I really shouldn’t be left out. Long story short we shouldn’t make excuses for not taking care of ourselves. Because then this can lead to a false image of ours in the world. Maybe then people start pitying us because of how we let ourselves look in the outside (mentally, not physically).
Lastly, a strong person can be emotional, can be vulnerable they can be anything. But what makes them strong is their self control, which makes them control themselves no matter the situation. Not all people are our friends. Not all people are our enemies. But we should better be alert for anything, since the future is always uncertain.
