Hello people, I hope you are all doing well! I apologize I have been absent for a while, but my exams are near the corner so I need more time to focus on them! Today I will be briefly answering one of the prompts suggested to me, not because I don’t have inspiration but because the next article I’m going to be writing about requires a lot of time since it’s going to be a sequel to my series. Anyway, let’s get started!
Actually writing something, whether that is a book, an article, or something else, requires passion, patience, and potential. It’s not easy to be a writer if you don’t have the right skills to be one. Anyone can be anything, that is true, but what if sometimes you just don’t have the skills to do it?
Writing for me is something very special, that lets me express my emotions, and write in my own way, even if I know that sometimes I might be judged out of it. Writing is freedom, actually, it is freedom that each one of us can have, to escape from reality and reveal to ourselves another world that is not usually seen. Writing is expressing yourself and talking to others through your words. Writing is a form of communication between the authors and the reader.
The reason it excited me and I like writing, is because there are no boundaries, there are so many languages, unlimited words, unlimited pages for you to write whatever you like. As I am picky with the book I decide to read, I am picky about the topics that I choose to write. Journalism, social media and gossip, were never seen and are not going to be seen in this blog. That is because I prefer when writing to write about genuine things, to be a better self that I was yesterday, to help someone reading this feel better. I like to empower people, because it empowers me too, and I don’t think I would ever like gossiping about celebrities, even if that brought me more views or anything. I love the content I have, and that might sound selfish. But the truth is, that it’s not. Blogging is something I do to make me escape reality and let go of any negative thoughts, you can call it my safe space even.
Passion is passion and no one gets to judge you for it. If they do, they are simply jealous. Following your passion and ignoring everyone else is the best thing you can do for yourself.
Stop thinking about whether someone will talk ill about you, just do it. And be happy. Also, make sure to never ever, regret about it.
