Greeting – Who am I?

Hello and welcome to my blog!

My name is Evelyn. I am a 18 year – old girl. My pronouns are she/her. I’m from Greece, and for 4 years I was studying at the Music School of Athens! I play violin and piano. I love singing, drawing, and dancing. Now I am studying Biomedical Science at the University of Essex, in the UK! As a hobby, I am a blogger and soon to be content creator!

But also…WHO ARE WE?

Funny for me to type “we” since it’s only me! But all together, WE are Diamond blog, because I cannot bring my dream to life without you. In fact, Diamond blog is the place where you can find, anything. Motivation, inspiration, latest fashion trends even study tips to ace your semester/exams/years of being a student. You name it, we have it.

WHY DID I START BLOGGING AND WHY DO I CONTINUE TO DO SO?

Honestly, I didn’t know much back when I started, basically, I knew nothing. But I thought that writing for the things I like and enjoy, will make me feel better. For those who know me, almost 4 years now, I started everything from scratch, during covid, a period that in everyone’s life was unforgettable. Despite my lengthy schedule, I decided to dedicate some time into writing articles that where different than the ones we used to hear. By the years passing and my schedule being even more hectic, I had to step back, and be gone for a while, to prioritize my academic success. Now that I gained even more experiences, I decided it was time to come back again, and try my best into making this little site a friendly place for anyone. To all of you, blogging is not dead. People read newspaper sites everyday, which is basically the same. Just this time, it gets a bit more creative, away from our daily struggles.

WHAT ARE MY GOALS AND HOW WILL I MOVE FORWARD?

This can be considered as a small surprise. My goal is to combine blogging and content creating in a different way. I actually like to stand out for the way I do things, so I can say I am quite excited. I am still figuring out how I am going to achieve that, but I already have some big plans in mind. The rest? Stay tuned and updated to know!

IS THERE ANY SUBSCRIPTION NEEDED TO ACCESS MY POSTS?

The answer to that is yes, but not for every post of mine. Almost every post is free for you to read and share, But I do have a few (maybe 2 or 3 posts) that require subscription for you to read, or download. There are study materials I used the past 2 years! But, do not worry. I know that everyone who really wants to fulfill their dream cannot always have it easy. Study content, tips and many more study related blog posts will be uploaded for free! We do not gate-keep!

AND LASTLY.. HOW DO I CONTINUE MOVING FORWARD?

First of all, no one has the right to say life is easy, simply because is isn’t. But if we focus on the negative, we never really manage to improve from the version we don’t like anymore. Instead, we keep getting worse. Looking at life with a different point of view, and maybe focusing on the positive aspects, can help us improve a little. But what you should really try to work on, is how much you believe in yourself. That thing is not granted. Be your own best friend. You will have many hardships, and sad endings, but live is short, and if we don’t live the every moment, then it’s going to get wasted. Work hard for what you want to achieve. Work harder for what you desire. Never, ever, stop dreaming. Dream big, have dedication and believe in yourself. In the end, you will make it happen.
