You say you can, but really, can you?

Hello my Diamond Blog lovers! I hope you are having a great start of the week. Actually, the week has already started since yesterday, but I still want to wish you a great start! So as I was studying today I took a look to my vision board and said: Can I really make it? And I decided that topic to be today’s article. The truth is, that many times we say we can, or that, it’s way too easy! Well, how honest is our reaction to the real problem? Facing problems is a daily life experience, so we are familiar with it. To overcome them can sometimes be hard, but other times easy. What happens to the long term goals though? Are they considered problems that need to be solved? Are they considered something we “must” do? Is there someone that “says” we “have” to?

When it comes to my goals I always believe in myself. But there are also times I don’t. There are times I say that I will give up, and other times where I say that I can go to NASA (I’m laughing because mood swings are my thing). Well, I know in fact that if you don’t try you won’t achieve anything, and if you keep dreaming, you better keep sleeping if you don’t chase your dreams in real life. The real question here, is how to do this without failing, or better, without wanting to give up. The honest answer, is that your mindset says it all. If you have a negative personality, you will only attract negativity. That’s what psychology says at least. If you have a positive personality, you will attract positivity. What if you are not any of those? What if you are just a human that is still experimenting, and is unsure? Then, you don’t need to worry. I got your back!

I still don’t know what my dream is. How do I find out?

You should better start testing yourself. See what suits you best, try new things, be creative and every day let yourself do something new! Who knows, maybe you have a special talent you never thought of! No one is left untalented! We all have talents and abilities to do many things. The only way to find out and unlock them, is to try new things and to search within ourselves what makes us actually happy!

I wanna do something but I’m afraid my work won’t be appreciated, or it won’t give me the live I dream of.

This happens to many people. The reality is that many professions are not as promising as they may look like. Being a model, requires a lot of passion and hard work. As well as being an artist, a football player, a singer etc. I would personally chase my dream no matter how hard that would be. But, if I saw that there was no way out, I would sacrifice my dream to something else I like, something that is hopefully well promising. That doesn’t mean I would give up my dream. Rather, I would keep my initial dream as a hobby, from which I would later make some money. Always look at ways that are the best solutions to your current situation! Never think that it’s the end. Because it simply isn’t! There are many ways in life to get what you want! Some are easy and others are hard. But if that wasn’t the case, then why are we alive?

My parents want me to be…

I won’t criticize something like this, because I am not yet a parent to know something like this. But, what if I say, that, even if you don’t like what your parents want for you, instead of thinking the downsides, work hard for it and try to love it! You may never love it, but it is for sure that you will achieve knowledge and lessons from it. Try to endure it, and who knows, you may love it in the end! But, if you definitely hate it, then, wait until you are 18, or a bit later. You’ll be free to decide what to do with your life. You may end up fighting with your parents, maybe even ending up in very unpleasant situations. But if you have a dream, then it’s all worth it! And remember, that parent’s love is something that cannot be replaced by anything and anyone. Maybe this sounds too much, but it’s the truth. Even though it’s hard for all of us to see it, it’s real. No matter how bad you fight with your parents, your parents will still love you. Even if in your opinion they are “bad people”. I will quote something from Colleen Hoover, in one of her books “It Ends With Us”. Maybe not all of you agree with it, and I do not embrace Colleen Hoover, or romanticize her and her books. I just like this small saying: There is no such thing as bad people. We are all just people who sometimes do bad things. Think that again. What if, it’s really this way? What if there is no evil in this world? It’s just an opinion, and nothing should be taken for real. But, what I wanna say with that is, that our parents may not act perfect all the time, and this often makes us angry. Well, let’s think that no one is perfect. We are all perfectly imperfect.

I have a dream. I am trying hard. But I want to give up because it’s too much.

Here we are people. If there is one thing I said a million times but never ever did that, that is to give up. Because the truth is that it’s very easy to give up, to do anything we like. But when we get to face unpleasant situations, people and occasions, what do we do? Do we smile? Do we cry? Do we laugh? Do we give up our lives and think that giving up is the solution to everything? The answer to me is no. No matter how tired I am of this life, I will never settle, and never give up. And that is because I do have a little egoism for myself. You are working so hard for so long. Are you serious you’re going to give up now? Maybe there are still many things left for you to figure out and to complete until you reach your goal, you should remember why you started in the first place. When I was in my rock bottom, I made sticky notes, and wrote motivating things, I stuck those to this laptop, to my wall, my room, my books, everywhere. I did this so I could remind myself all the time why I started. I decided to make a vision board. Put on it my dreams, my goals my ambitions, everything that expressed the good side of me. After all, I told myself that I will no longer listen to sad music. I tried motivating myself, with motivating music, vision boards, YouTube videos but most importantly hard work. You need to know that hard work is something you should always push yourself into. Work hard in order to have what you dream of. Even in your lowest mentally, don’t stop. Push yourself. Trust me, it pays off.

That’s it from me today! I will see you again very soon, so stay tuned! Working hard for you! Bye!
